Poetry in Motion Mondays: Sick

Sick                    ( Sometime in 2000)

I feel the sickness from head to toe.
What is this sickness does anyone know.
Sick from what life has to offer.
Sick of this decimated place.
The sickness turns to rage.
It must all be kept in a cage.
To be put on display
For everyone to gawk at.
Why is misery so amusing?
Accept it till it becomes abusing.
Can’t take the abuse anymore.
Don’t want to be adored.
Just wanting to be left alone.
The sickness changes tone.
From Quietness to out spoken.
The only release from life.
Life just keeps going up in smoke.
This sickness is not a wife of a knife.
Just something called life.

About Thomas Chappell

My name is Tom, I started blogging July of 2013 so I am pretty new to this. I love finding deals on large purchases. I compare products, and what people are saying about them, then I try to find the best price including shipping on them. I also enjoy cooking and eating, so we will be posting some of our recipes.
